This is one of many new free tools that I'm going to be releasing that showcase the upcoming EarthBrowser Flash plugin. I'll be putting out another nice embed tool that will be customizable to show any set of orbiting satellites and will zoom from one to the next.

Hello Matt:
A little user feedback--I was confused by the "night" because it uses the "lights at night" overlay. I originally misinterpreted the urban areas as being hotspots of traffic instead of part of the night image.
Although I'm willing to volunteer a certain amount of ignorance, users not familiar with the "lights at night" overlay may be confused as well.
Friendly Feedback,
Brian Timoney
Gonna have to give this a try on wordpress :)
I foresee that this is going to be a great tool. Can I easily integrate it to my site or blog? Thanks ;)
great idea!
can it also be customized with my own sitemeter tracker?
can I use it right away in my own website?
it is a great idea to spread the word about earthbrowser!
thanks a lot! kai.
Well it wouldn't work on wordpress.com but I now have wordpress on a real host and have put the tool at the bottom of my page, it looks cool, thanks :)
Is there any chance you could make a version of this using the BMNG shaded data as the image, it would look great for my site.
I want virtual satellite. I want to be able to tell the rotation of the earth to rotate the way I want to see it, not just into the eastern dawn. If I track over the poles or a variant of that orbit, I want to see my own Virtual Satellite recon. Not just the physical recons.

This is great for real time monitoring and remote sensing.
